What’s the Dress Code?

The dress code is elevated, intentional, and a little fun — not black tie, but definitely not beach casual. We want our guests to look their best and feel amazing. Here's what we’re envisioning:
  • Suits or sport coats encouraged for men — ties optional, polished shoes preferred
  • Dresses, jumpsuits, or coordinated sets for women — floor-length or midi all welcome
  • Color, texture, and prints welcome.
If you're between outfits, lean more formal. The ceremony is indoors, and the reception is partially outdoors in a courtyard with heaters.

What to Pack

April in Santa Barbara is cooler than most people expect. Days are usually in the 60s or low 70s, and evenings can dip into the 50s — especially near the breezy water. Here are a few things we recommend packing:
  •  Heels are fine — but we do recommend a block heel or something walkable since we'll be strolling downtown before and after.
  •  Layers you can throw on and off as the weather changes
  • Comfortable walking shoes — downtown is super walkable and you’ll want to explore
  • A backup outfit for the Funk Zone crawl — think cute but very casual
And while Santa Barbara has beautiful beaches, it’s not quite swimming season. Bring your suit if you’re staying at a hotel with a heated pool, but manage expectations accordingly.
