Santa Barbara was the first place we traveled together after moving to Southern California. We were already in love, but something about being here made everything feel more grounded, more real. It marked the beginning of building a life side by side.
There’s a quiet magic to Santa Barbara. The red-tiled rooftops, palm trees swaying against the mountains, wineries and breweries tucked just off the coast — all part of the charm that drew us in and made us want to get married here, too.
Since then, it’s become one of our favorite places. It’s where we go to slow down and reconnect, sip coffee by the beach, wander downtown, and toast to whatever comes next. When our parents visited California for the first time, this is where we brought them. And just like us, they fell in love with it too.
We know California is far for many of you, especially those coming from the East Coast. But this place means the world to us, and we chose it with care. It’s where part of our story began, and we can’t wait for it to become part of yours, too.

Day of the Wedding
Ceremony

We’ll begin our celebration with an intimate ceremony in the Mural Room of the historic Santa Barbara Courthouse. Please plan to arrive early — the courthouse is open to the public and often bustling with visitors, so a few extra minutes will ensure you’re seated before the ceremony begins at 4pm.
You may even want to arrive a little earlier to get your photos as the grounds are incredibly picturesque, with beautiful gardens, historic halls, and classic Spanish architecture that make for stunning backdrops.

After the ceremony, we’ll make our way to Villa & Vine — a hidden gem in the heart of downtown Santa Barbara. You’ll step into a private Mediterranean-style courtyard for cocktails, dinner, and dancing. We can’t wait to celebrate under the twinkle lights with all of you.

Funk Zone Bar Crawl

On Saturday, we’ll keep the festivities going with a casual crawl through Santa Barbara’s Funk Zone — a vibrant neighborhood packed with dozens of tasting rooms and breweries just steps from the beach. Whether you’re into craft beer, chilled rosé, or just good company, there’s something here for everyone. No formal plans, no dress code, just a laid-back afternoon exploring some of our favorite spots together. Come thirsty.
